Aimee Isaac is a children’s book author who writes stories fueled by her passion for the natural world. Her debut picture book, The Planet We Call Home will be released in Spring 2023 from Philomel. Aimee writes lyrical, character-driven, and rollicking reads and is always looking to learn something new.

Aimee is a former teacher and a busy advocate, dedicated to protecting the environment and ending Alzheimer’s. She serves as a Board Member for the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays and as Ambassador to Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association. Aimee’s educational background includes Sociology (The University of Maryland, College Park), Early Childhood Special Education, and Reading (Johns Hopkins University).

When Aimee isn’t writing or advocating she’s often found hiking, reading, or spending time with her family. She lives with her husband and three children in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
