Elizabeth Tallent

Elizabeth Tallent teaches literature and creative writing at Stanford University. She is the author of a novel, Museum Pieces, and four collections of short stories, In Constant FlightTime with Children, and Honey. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, Esquire, Harper'sGrand StreetThe Paris ReviewThe Threepenny ReviewThe Best American Short Stories, and O. Henry Award collections. Her story "Tabriz" received a 2008 Pushcart Prize Award. Mendocino Fire, her latest story collection, was published by Harper in 2015 and was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award. Her memoir Scratched will be published by Harper in 2020.
